Bright Light Bright Light: UK Tour and ‘Enjoy Youth’ Special Edition

Bright Light Bright Light announces a special edition of his critically acclaimed 2024 album ‘Enjoy Youth’, the special edition ‘Enjoy More’ will be available digitally and on a double LP vinyl from April 7. He will tour the UK in April.

‘Revived‘ is a fan favourite from 2024’s Top 10 selling album ‘Enjoy Youth’ co-written and produced with recent GRAMMY winner Jon Shave (‘Brat‘ co-writer and producer). Featuring backing vocals from Sam Harper (the voice of Riton’s monster hit ‘Friday‘), it’s an empowering dance song that sees Bright Light Bright Light at his most fierce and rousing. The song is an anthem for self-belief, defiance and refusing to be ignored, released at a time where LGBTQ+ communities are under relentless attack in the media and need to feel reminded of their power. Portland based club promoters and producers Matt Consola & Andy Allder take the track and give it a perfect re-work for club dance floors in their extended club mix and their super tight radio mix that packs an incredible punch. Alongside these mixes are a revised radio edit and an extended DJ mix cut from the original production.

‘Keep’ is a lush, 80s drenched pop song created with UK pop legend Richard X. Richard’s work has long been an inspiration for Bright Light Bright Light, with many of his massive hits being a regular part of the DJ sets at his weekly tea dance, and his DJ appearances at Prides and clubs across the world. His most recent work on Alison Goldfrapp’s debut solo album reminded fans just how special his production is, and on ‘Keep’, Richard’s production soars.Acting as a nostalgia-tinged sonic embrace, the song affirms the listener that they will always be safe, and always be loved, a perfect message as Spring kicks in and the world feels a little lighter, and in contrast to the troubling news cycles we’re facing.

Enjoy Youth the album is a record focussed on joy, optimism and embracing love in spite ofeverything going on around us. It features collaborations with dance legend Ultra Nat, Sam Harper (voice of Riton ‘Friday Night’), and Berri (known for her huge 90s hit Sunshine After The Rain).

Packed full of glittering electropop, 90s house and big dollops of HiNRG synthpop, it’s an album that acknowledges our dystopian times and offers up an escapist alternative.
