Calderdale Pride Follows the Yellow Brick Road to DEAN CLOUGH

Calderdale Pride, the hugely popular LBGTQ+ community event which attracts more than 25,000 visitors each year, has announced a new home for its 2025 festival.

Dean Clough is to host the spectacular which is expected to be even bigger and better than previous years. The region’s most celebrated cultural destination is to undergo a transformation inspired by The Wizard of Oz, complete with a yellow brick road, Emerald City and those ruby slippers!

Calderdale Pride organisers have announced the new venue and theme with the date set for Saturday 16^th August 2025. Revellers can expect an action-packed day with live music, entertainment and displays with many of the local businesses at Dean Clough and Halifax taking part.

Calderdale Pride aims to engage the local community with equality and diversity for LGBTQ+ people through an annual event where everybody is welcome including friends, family and carers. It aims to minimise exclusion, stigma, and hate crime to help make a stronger community.

Dean Clough is located on the edge of Halifax town centre, between Leeds and Manchester, and just 15 minutes from the M62 with direct train links to Leeds, Manchester, York and London.
